The weather is not our friend. It started to rain in the night. It continued to rain on and off all day.
We left the warm and dry cottage at Ruby's Rest to start today. We stopped at Mojoe's Coffee Shop on the way out of town for vanilla soy lattes. Yum!
Today was like the approach to Everest. Tomorrow we head over the top of Whitetop Mountain and Mt Rogers. I'm excited as we are close to Grayson Highlands with the herd of wild ponies.
We are staying at Lost Mountain Shelter tonight was our friend Travis.
