Day 61 Monday April 29
Last night, we had a great dinner out at Gunnar's Grille in Taneytown, MD with Mike's cousin Steve and his wife Tess. I ate an awesome grilled vegetable salad and Mike had a veggie wrap with a good load of fries!
We slept in a great bed and didn't get up early.
We had an awesome breakfast this morning- quiche, bagels, donuts and fruit salad.
We both got haircuts and shopped for our next sections of trail.
It has been a great day of relaxing, visiting and reconnecting with family. We have been eating like two starving waifs.
Tomorrow Steve drives us back to Harpers Ferry, WV to start again. They will pick us up Wednesday evening. We will be back here on May 1 to celebrate Mike's 60th birthday!
