We left this morning at 6:05 and hiked in the dark for about 40 minutes. The morning was cool but the afternoon really heated up.
We really hopped from water source to water source to keep the dogs hydrated. Lily and Sara hiked with their new friend Buddy. He is the Bluesman's dog that joined him at Pearisburg.
We got some really nice views today. The first great view was from Wind Rock.
The next nice view was at Kelly Knob.
Tonight we are staying at Laurel Creek Shelter with Matchstick and the Bluesman and Buddy.
