We enjoyed the continental breakfast at the motel. We had scrambled eggs, donuts, waffles, bagels with cream cheese and juice. Yum! We haven't had cooked breakfast since Mother Marian's Hostel.
The hike today was on great trail that was switch backed and well graded. We saw trees and shrubs starting to break their buds and blooms. A few lizards scurried by.
We climbed to the Blue Ridge Parkway at Black Horse Gap. Mike heard a motorcycle and was wishing he had a Harley. Sick man!
We had some nice views but unfortunately no trail magic.
The mountains in the background are our trail for tomorrow.
We are staying at Bobblet Gap Shelter. We met a nice couple here. They are section hikers.
Tonight is the first night in our summer sleeping bags.
