We had a rain storm in the night that turned to snow. We had to move upstairs in the shelter. It is a good thing as the platform where we were was totally soaked in the morning.
In the morning we didn't head out until 9:30. It was freezing rain and everything was coated with a half inch of ice.
We had to climb Hump Mountain in a fury of wind it was honestly the worst day we have ever hiked!
We made it to the highway and walked on the right way to the Mountain Harbour B&B/ hostel. We stayed in the hostel which was a neat loft above the barn with horses and goats!
We meet some new thru hikers and had a great time.
