This morning it was 17 degrees inside the shelter. The wind blew all night. The trail was incredibly icy and snow packed so going was slow. We finally made it to New Found Gap.
We had our first great views of the mountains today.
They actually are mountains.
Tonight we are staying at Tri Corner Knob Shelter. There are just 3 of us here tonight. We will make intro Davenport Gap tomorrow where we will be reunited with our doggies. It is great to have covered more miles on the AT.
