Day 8

We hit the trail at about 7:15. We would see our first bear today, at a distance! They are supposed to be really numerous in New Jersey. We had some great views today.

We ate lunch at Brink Shelter. It's brand new!


It was another great day hiking! Very hot! We stopped for iced tea at Gyp's Tavern and sat on the dock to soak our feet in Kittatinny Lake. 14.7 miles today!
