Day 10

We left the Murray property early. The first part of the morning was a bit foggy. We walked through some fields and saw turkeys.
We had 2 scarlet tanagers fly right in front of us! We also flushed some wood ducks off a small pond.



We walked through the Walkill National Bird Refuge and then crossed 0.6 mile boardwalk with a suspension bridge.










We saw some baby turtles here.



We stopped at Heaven Hill Farms for an ice cream before climbing up to Wayawanda shelter where we camped in our tents! Today was fabulous! 18.5 miles
