Day 16

It started raining during the night so we slept in. We left around 8:00 when the rain let up. We hiked 3 miles to the Native Landscape Center beside the train tracks that take you to NYC. I got my mail drop box so my pack weight went up again.
It was like walking in an enchanted forest today.



We saw this old tower/ tank on a farm we crossed.


I thought this road sign was a good one.


The last two shelters have had library boxes.


A stream we crossed today.


We said goodbye to New York and headed into Connecticut! We swam in the river, rinsed out clothes and are now relaxing!
It was a great day! 12.8 miles
