Day 2

I left the shelter at 7:30 and headed north towards Port Clinton, PA. It was a nice, cool morning. The trail wasn't too rocky.

I met a Boy Scout troop out on a shake down/training trip for their summer visit at Philmont in New Mexico. They were a nice group.

When I dropped down the mountain into Port Clinton Alyssa aka Snake Girl and Diesel Dog met me. She had her new foster dog Harper.












We walked to the peanut shop which is really an old fashioned candy store. I got a juice and then we hit the trail. We hiked passed Pulpit Rocks and tented beside the trail. It was a great day. 17 miles!
