Day 19

It rained in the night so we packed up wet tents and headed for Salisbury. We had rain again on the trail through Falls Village so I have no trail pictures of today.

The weather broke when we got to Salisbury. The first thing we did was hit Sweet Williams Coffee and Pastry Shop! Yum a soy mocha latte, an apricot ginger scone and a giant ginger molasses cookie.

We stayed with Trail Angel Maria McCabe. She is an 85 year old German woman who takes hikers into her home.
We used her clothesline to dry our tents!





Then we ate lunch at Mizza's Pizzas, a local place run by an Albanian family! Yum! They had so many vegetarian pizza choices I was confused!


It turned into a warm afternoon. We walked to the stores on the small Main St. to resupply. It was a great day of relaxing! 10.2 miles
