She arrived with her friend Brian at around 7:00 AM. We visited a while and then hit the trail. The first thing we did was cross the Delaware River into New Jersey.
We hiked uphill to Sunfish Pond where we saw our first two snakes, thank goodness they were the water variety.
We soon saw a beaver pond with lodges.
New Jersey is proving to be a beautiful state.
We camped on a ridge and hung out food as there are lots of black bears in this state.
It was a beautiful and much less rocky day. 16.7 miles
