We had an awesome breakfast to start our day. Steve drove us to Pen Mar Park where we started our hike today at 7:05.
It was a rolling hills day with lots of road crossing! We found some trail magic in a creek- cold root beers.
We crossed into Pennsylvania today. It is our third state in the past 3 days of hiking. We sure love checking them off the list. PA is our 7th state.
We hiked on the section of trail that Steve and Tess maintain for the PATC. We helped out by throwing out some rocks and sticks. There weren't any down trees!
We ate lunch in an area that was cleared for a pipeline. It gave us a great view!
We are staying at the Quarry Gap Shelter and must say it is a classy place. 5 stars in our book.
