We decided to start out with lightweight boots. We both have a pair of Teva Event Forge boots. I used mine in the Grand Canyon when we hiked the Butte Fault Route in November. They were wonderful. I added pink Superfeet. Mike has the same boots with green Superfeet.
We both have super lightweight Helinox trekking poles. We are ready to hit the trail!
