Food Drop at Neels Gap

We stopped at Mountain Crossings at Neels Gap, GA and left our box of food so we can resupply when we hike through there.


It is a beautiful stone building with a large tree out front where many pairs of hiking boots and shoes have come to rest, literally. Right across the road is the honest to goodness Appalachian Trail.


While we were there we saw a number of thru hikers including Oakleaf and The Ogdens. We are getting really excited about starting!
